Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead the design and development of data center spaces across current and future projects. You will oversee electrical design activities from concept through commissioning, ensuring alignment with codes, standards, and client requirements.

As a senior leader, you will mentor engineers, drive strategic design initiatives, and coordinate with sales, operations, and finance to deliver high-quality facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• US-based Professional Engineer (P.E.) strongly preferred.
• 8+ years in an engineering management or leadership role.
• 15+ years in electrical design and construction; 20+ years preferred.
• Data Center experience required.
• Experience leading multi-project engineering workloads.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of Electrical Design and Engineering for data centers.
• Oversee inputs and deliverables to ensure requirements meet codes, leases, and standards.
• Develop and refine design standards to align with company vision.
• Coordinate with site operations, sales, and finance to support project delivery.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff for technical excellence.
• Recruit, lead, and manage Electrical SME team and multi-project workload.
