Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead design and engineering for large-scale data center projects. You will drive innovative electrical solutions from land acquisition through commissioning, balancing cost, performance and reliability.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with sales, procurement, site development and operations, and ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineering license (PE) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in design and construction for data centers; 15+ preferred.
• Experience with NEC, NERC, IEEE, NFPA and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design reviews for new data centers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Ops and Construction.
• Balance CAPEX/OPEX with engineering innovation and site requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide consultants/contractors.
• Support operations with troubleshooting and tuning existing systems.
