Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to steer innovative design and engineering solutions for our data center projects. You will focus on program improvement initiatives and support deployment from land acquisition to operation hand-off, collaborating with construction, automation, innovation and sales teams.

You will lead complex design reviews, drive best practices, and balance CAPEX/OPEX while maintaining high reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering license in any US state.
• 10+ years of design/construction experience in data centers preferred.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NERC, IEEE, NFPA and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design reviews for deployment of new Data Centers.
• Manage large, complex projects with limited oversight.
• Provide project leadership for consultants and contractors within budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with site operations, sales, procurement and leadership.
