SSOE is seeking a Mid-to-Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical systems for automotive and industrial facility projects across the US, including Phoenix. You will act as Engineer of Record, manage power distribution from utility to campus, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions.
This role emphasizes client-facing leadership, design reviews, and mentoring junior staff.
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
- PE license or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.
- 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial/manufacturing facilities; 10+ for senior.
- Experience with automotive, battery manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, consumer products, or related facilities.
Responsabilités
- Lead the design and execution of electrical systems for automotive, manufacturing, battery, and industrial facility projects.
- Serve as Engineer of Record and technical lead on projects of varying complexity.
- Develop electrical power distribution systems from utility service through facility distribution networks.
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, controls, structural, civil, and architecture teams throughout project development.
- Mentor junior engineers and designers while promoting technical excellence and quality standards.
