Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Mid-to-Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical systems for automotive, industrial facilities, and manufacturing projects across the US. You will design, review, and commission power distribution, coordinate with multi-discipline teams, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications include a BS in Electrical Engineering, PE (or reciprocity), 8+ years of relevant experience, and knowledge of NEC/NFPA/IEEE.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• PE license or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial/manufacturing facilities.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of electrical systems for automotive, manufacturing, battery, and industrial facility projects.
• Serve as Engineer of Record and technical lead on projects of varying complexity and size.
• Develop power distribution from utility service through facility networks.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, controls, structural, civil, and architecture teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
