Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Mid-to-Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the planning, design, and execution of electrical systems for automotive, industrial, and manufacturing facilities. You will serve as Engineer of Record and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial/manufacturing facilities; 10+ years for senior level.
• Experience with automotive, battery manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, consumer products, food & beverage, or other industrial facilities.
• Strong understanding of facility electrical infrastructure including medium- and low-voltage systems, MCCs, switchgear, VFDs, back-up power, grounding.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of electrical systems for automotive, manufacturing, battery, and industrial facility projects.
• Serve as Engineer of Record and technical lead on projects of varying complexity.
• Develop electrical power distribution from utility service through facility networks.
• Prepare and review diagrams, power plans, layouts, schedules, and lighting/grounding/load calculations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients; support procurement, startup, and commissioning.
