Job summary
SSOE is seeking a Mid-to-Senior Electrical Engineer with automotive and industrial facilities experience to lead electrical design for complex facilities in the US, including Austin, TX. You will own power distribution studies, coordinate with multi-discipline teams, and mentor junior engineers while delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
Ideal candidates have a BS in EE, PE license or eligibility, 8+ years in industrial or manufacturing settings, and strong client-facing
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility.
- 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial/manufacturing facilities.
- Experience with automotive, battery manufacturing, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure and NEC standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of electrical systems for automotive and industrial facilities.
- Serve as Engineer of Record and technical lead on projects of varying complexity.
- Develop electrical power distribution from utility service through facility networks.
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, controls, structural, and architecture teams.
