Job summary
SSOE Group is seeking a Mid-to-Senior Electrical Engineer (Automotive & Industrial Facilities) to lead electrical design for complex industrial and manufacturing projects, including automotive and battery facilities.
You will serve as Engineer of Record, develop power distribution, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that meet schedule and budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
- Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain licensure.
- 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial/manufacturing facilities.
- Experience with automotive, battery, advanced manufacturing, or similar industries.
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, IBC standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of electrical systems for automotive, manufacturing, battery, and industrial facility projects.
- Serve as Engineer of Record and technical lead on projects of varying complexity and size.
- Develop electrical power distribution systems from utility service through facility distribution networks.
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, controls, structural, and architecture teams throughout project development.
- Mentor junior engineers and support business development efforts.
