Job summary

SSOE Group seeks a Mid-to-Senior Electrical Engineer (Automotive & Industrial Facilities) to lead electrical design and execution for complex industrial facilities across automotive, battery, and manufacturing sectors.

You will serve as Engineer of Record, develop power distribution, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, review electrical documentation, and mentor junior engineers while supporting project budgets, schedules, and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity is required.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience for mid-level; 10+ years for senior-level.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of electrical systems for automotive, manufacturing, battery, and industrial facility projects.
• Serve as Engineer of Record and technical lead on projects of varying complexity and size.
• Develop electrical power distribution systems from utility service through facility distribution networks.
• Review and prepare one-line diagrams, power plans, equipment layouts, and cable schedules.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to business development activities.
