Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical SME with deep power systems expertise for hyperscale data center programs. You will shape electrical infrastructure strategy from utility interconnection through IT receptacles, including MV/LV distribution, UPS, generator paralleling, and protective coordination.

You will mentor engineers, lead design-build delivery, and present technical differentiators at client workshops and industry forums.

Responsibilities

• Lead upfront power systems planning for hyperscale data centers and define MV/LV distribution architecture.
• Oversee power chain from MV switchgear to IT equipment, including UPS, generators, transfer switching, and busways.
• Provide technical governance across design teams and support commissioning and IST for critical power systems.
