Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program; Master’s degree preferred.
• PE License active in at least one U.S. state; licensure required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead upfront power systems planning for hyperscale clients, defining MV/LV distribution architecture and redundancy strategies.
• Drive the full power chain from MV switchgear through UPS, generator paralleling, transfer switching and protection coordination.
• Provide technical governance across discipline teams, review calculations and submittals for quality and code compliance; support IST and commissioning.
• Mentor electrical engineers and designers; develop reusable calculation packages and reference designs.
• Represent Jacobs in industry forums and client workshops to articulate power systems value proposition.
