Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer - Water Technologies to lead control and automation strategy for MWIS projects. You will design control narratives, develop PLC/HMI programs, and create electrical layouts and single line diagrams.

Travel up to 25% and collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams. The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and 5 years of water treatment system design experience, with proficiency in major PLC/HMI platforms and electrical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other EngineeringTechnical degree; relevant experience acceptable.
• 5 years of experience in the design of industrial water treatment systems.
• Proficiency with control platforms and HMIs (Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc, Wonderware, Siemens).
• Familiarity with NEC and UL508A.
• Experience with Process and Instrumentation Diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
• Read and process engineering documents including P&IDs, GA drawings, electrical schematics, I/O lists, network architecture.
• Design detailed control logic for plant operation (Control Philosophy, Control Logic & Sequence Charts).
• Develop control narratives, PLC and HMI programs.
• Prepare schematics, layouts, and BOMs for control panel fabrication.
• Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
