Job summary

Veolia is seeking a senior Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EI&C) Engineer to lead and mentor a cross-functional team on water technology projects. You will design electrical/instrumentation systems, select equipment, and prepare control panel schematics, I/O lists, and VFD selections.

The role requires a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, 10+ years of experience, and the ability to travel up to 15%. A hybrid work setup is offered with on-site collaboration three days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant or related experience.
• Experience with complex low voltage industrial control systems (UL/CEC).
• Knowledge of control panels and equipment for use in hazardous areas (Class 1 Div 2).

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and comment on engineering documents (P&IDs, GA, specs).
• Interpret and follow complex contract and customer specifications.
• Perform calculations and select instrumentation for water treatment facilities; manage budget, scope, schedule, risks.
• Design low voltage industrial control systems, including SLDs, I/O lists, panels, diagrams, and networks.
