Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies seeks an EI&C Engineer to lead instrumentation, electrical, controls and programming design for water tech projects. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, perform detailed electrical design, control philosophy creation, FATs and commissioning support, while managing budgets and schedules.

The role requires PLC/HMI programming, instrumentation selection, and strong communication skills in a fast‑paced environment. PE/EIT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in industrial control systems.
• PE or EIT designation preferred or required where applicable.
• Experience with low voltage industrial control design in UL/CEC context.
• Experience with PLC/HMI programming and SCADA design.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering documents including P&IDs and design guidelines.
• Design complete electrical for water treatment facilities: single line diagrams and panel schematics.
• Develop process control documents: control philosophy and sequence charts.
• Perform FAT/CVT/checkouts and support commissioning activities.
• Manage budget, scope, schedule, and report risks to project teams.
