Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a Senior Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to lead and mentor in the design of electrical and/or instrumentation for water technologies on complex projects. The role may include leading a team on large projects and performing instrument selections, panel design, and commissioning support.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of relevant experience, UL/CEC compliance knowledge, and strong customer collaboration skills; hybrid office model with travel ~15% is

Qualifications

• Experience with complex low voltage industrial control system design.
• Designing control panels for use in hazardous (Class 1 Div 2) areas.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and follow engineering documents and standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and comment on engineering documents including P&IDs and design guidelines.
• Perform calculations and select instrumentation for water treatment facilities with safety in mind.
• Design low voltage control systems, I/O lists, schematics, and network architectures.
• Support bids, provide technical guidance, and lead customer-focused solutions.
• Lead or mentor junior EI&C engineers on projects.
