Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related EHS experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrated team management or project leadership.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Knowledge of wastewater operations and environmental regulations preferred.
• OSHA regulations and Process Safety Management requirements.
• Workers' compensation processes and incident investigations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet usage.
• Strong oral and written communication in English.

Aufgaben

• Oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and management systems for the location.
• Manage EHS team through delegation, policy administration, and development.
• Ensure required EHS training is conducted per regulatory and Smithfield systems.
• Prepare regulatory reports and metrics; ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain KPIs and communicate action plans based on results.
• Lead investigations and implement corrective actions for continuous process improvement.
