You will drive EMS/SIPS implementation, oversee ammonia refrigeration safety, and coordinate site security plans with management. The role emphasizes training, incident investigation, and reducing workers’ compensation costs, with on‑call coverage and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field with 5+ years of experience; or equivalent.
• 2+ years of team management or project leadership.
• Ability to work extended hours including on-call and occasional travel.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration safety beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EHS programs to ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Manage EMS and SIPS; lead ISO 14001/45001 initiatives.
• Coordinate ammonia refrigeration PSM and RMP activities.
• Train staff on OSHA regs, SOPs, and emergency response.
• Review incident reports and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor KPIs and report to management.
