Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking an EHS Specialist at the Wilson, NC site to support compliance, training, and continuous improvement of our Environmental, Health and Safety programs.

The role involves maintaining SIPs and EMS requirements, assisting with permits, audits, and data management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with production teams, manage incident investigations, and help deliver ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 initiatives while adhering to site policies

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental, health and safety or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet schedules.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient with MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with compliance and reporting to location management.
• Support Process Safety Management/Risk Management Plan requirements for the ammonia refrigeration system.
• Track KPIs and assist with data management and surveys.
• Aid internal audits and ISO certification efforts; ensure adherence to SIPs/EMS.
