Job summary

Smithfield Fresh Meats Corp seeks a Senior EHS Manager to lead the site’s Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and management systems. You will drive regulatory compliance and oversee initiatives across Worker Safety, Environmental, PSM, RMP, and EMS, while directing training and performance reporting.

You will manage an EHS team, foster professional growth, and ensure timely regulatory submissions. The role requires strong English communication and the ability to travel occasionally for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental, health and safety or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience leading EHS teams or projects is required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and management systems for the location.
• Lead regulatory compliance and ensure alignment with ISO EHS standards.
• Develop and mentor the EHS team; manage workload and performance.
