Responsibilities

• Evaluate new and renewal policy applications, classify risks, determine pricing and limits.
• Respond to broker inquiries within designated timeframes as underwriting resource.
• Create and maintain binding and underwriting documentation per guidelines.
• Adhere to underwriting authority directives and company policies.
• Support other staff with underwriting procedures and guidelines.
• Develop understanding of factors that influence policy rating and risk.
