Tokio Marine HCC is seeking a Senior Construction Underwriter to develop and manage a profitable middle-market construction book with a strong production and broker-marketing focus. You will actively market to brokers, build relationships, and independently develop an assigned territory across the region.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of E&S construction underwriting, experience with larger contractor accounts, and the ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of E&S construction underwriting experience.
• Experience underwriting middle-market construction accounts.
• Ability to market to brokers and develop business relationships.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new and renewal policy applications and related documents.
• Contact and respond to inquiries from brokers within designated timeframe.
• Create and maintain documentation for policies and underwriting files.
• Adhere to underwriting authority directives and policies.
• Develop understanding of factors affecting policy rating and risk.
