Qualifications

• 5+ years of E&S construction underwriting experience.
• Experience underwriting middle-market construction accounts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new and renewal policy applications and related documents to classify and assess each risk and determine pricing.
• Respond to broker inquiries within designated timeframes and provide underwriting information.
• Maintain documentation for new/renewal files and underwriting worksheets.
• Adhere to underwriting directives and company policies.
• Approve/deny within authority or escalate for higher approval.
• Cultivate relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders to facilitate underwriting and growth.
• Develop understanding of factors affecting policy rating and risk.
