You will promote safety metrics, coach staff, and manage loads to maximize on-time service and profitability. The role requires 3+ years in operations or related supervisory work, with a high school diploma or equivalent. Strong communication and knowledge of DOT regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.
• 3+ years Operations experience including Customer Service, Fleet Management, or Load Planning preferred.
• Transportation, logistics, and/or supervisory a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety metrics and KPIs around service pickup, deadhead, and assignments per week.
• Supervise driver performance balancing business and driver needs.
• Coach drivers on performance and behavior expectations.
• Ensure high-level service by building strong relationships and proactive communication.
• Maximize profitability through efficient equipment utilization.
• Foster win/win scenarios for driver and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively to handle sensitive issues and disputes.
• Plan driver loads based on availability and ensure on-time service.
• Coordinate with drivers on phys29cals and CDL renewal deadlines.
• Utilize systems such as AS400 and XPM for productivity.
• Collaborate with other departments and perform yard duties as needed.
• Support organizational objectives and share feedback constructively.
