U.S. Xpress is hiring a Supervisor II Account to oversee driver performance, safety metrics, and service levels at Gordonville. This role drives territory planning, positive driver relations, and cross-functional collaboration to meet operational targets.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in operations with a background in transportation or logistics, and a proven ability to coach and coordinate teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of operations experience including customer service, fleet management, or load planning preferred.
• Transportation, logistics, and supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety metrics and performance indicators for service pickup and assignments.
• Supervise driver performance to balance business and driver needs.
• Coach drivers using high performance coaching techniques.
• Manage customer expectations through strong relationships and proactive communication.
• Maximize profitability via equipment utilization and efficiency.
• Resolve driver disputes and communicate effectively on sensitive issues.
• Plan driver loads based on availability and PTA, ensuring on-time service.
• Coordinate with drivers on DOT-related requirements and renewal deadlines.
• Use AS400 and XPM systems to boost departmental productivity.
• Collaborate with other departments and perform yard duties as assigned.
• Support others in achieving organizational objectives and build trust.
