Job summary

U.S. Xpress is seeking an Operations professional to supervise and develop drivers for assigned accounts, addressing service issues and ensuring on-time shipments.

The role focuses on driver management, performance, and coordination with customers to meet lanes and ETAs. Responsibilities include supervising drivers, maintaining fleet readiness, planning loads, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations while protecting revenue and customer trust.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.
• 3+ years Operations experience including Customer Service, Fleet Management, or Load Planning preferred.
• Transportation, logistics, and/or supervisory a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop all drivers for assigned accounts and address customer service issues and shipments.
• Manage all aspects related to drivers and their performance.
• Assist with setup and management of new accounts and address driver disputes.
• Plan loads and coordinate with drivers, considering driver hours and ETAs.
• Ensure on-time service and that fleet maintenance is current.
