Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a SME Systems Engineer specializing in aircraft sub-system integration, airworthiness, and electronic warfare to support classified USAF programs at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

The role requires active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility, a Master’s degree in engineering, 20+ years of DoD experience, and SAP/SCI experience within the last 5 years; travel up to 10% CONUS is expected.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET clearance with ability to obtain SCI/SAP.
• Master's degree in an engineering discipline with 20+ years DoD/government experience.
• Minimum 3 years SAP/SCI experience in the last 5 years.
• Ability to travel up to 10% CONUS.

Responsibilities

• Be a Subject Matter Expert in electronic warfare and systems engineering for classified programs.
• Translate operational user requirements into contract system requirements.
• Apply systems engineering for hardware/software development, configuration management, data rights, and quality assurance.
• Develop and present technical briefings and engineering strategies.
• Interface with contractors, vendors, and Government representatives on engineering activities.
• Develop system-of-systems architectures and digital transformation strategies.
• Implement aircraft airworthiness, risk management, and obsolescence tracking.
• Develop test plans and oversee testing activities.
• Perform technical risk assessments and mitigation plans.
• Develop RFP technical documents and evaluate contractor proposals.
