Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. seeks an Account Executive - Splunk - Military Defense to join a national remote US team. You will engage DoD customers, translate mission needs into security solutions, and drive growth across Navy/DoD channels.

The role requires deep military sales acumen, ability to obtain/maintain clearance, and travel readiness. You’ll collaborate with engineers and executives to deliver IL-compliant cyber security offerings that protect critical missions.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of direct military operational service or 4+ years in software/DoD sales.
• Understanding of US Armed Services command workflows or military environments.
• Experience delivering briefings to military officers or SES leaders.
• Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance or eligible to obtain.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% for briefings.

• Identify and pursue new mission opportunities in restricted markets.
• Lead in ambiguity, set vision, and influence multiple stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers and external partners to deliver IL-compliant security solutions.
• Deliver security-focused solutions that protect missions and data.
