Job summary

Amazon AWS is seeking a Principal Sales Executive to shape and deliver the DoW partner strategy, building mind share and broad use of AWS by engaging Defense customers, SI partners, and solution providers delivering cloud-based capabilities.

The role requires deep business and technical fluency, interaction with senior military and civilian leaders, and the ability to travel as needed to win strategic opportunities. A US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

10+ years of technology sales experience.
Experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals.
Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives or communicating results to senior leadership.
Bachelor's degree or above, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
10+ years working with Systems Integrators and/or technology partners supporting the DoW.

Responsibilities

Develop a growing book of business in the Department of War sales team.
Drive business and technical relationships and close opportunities rapidly with key partners.
Establish deep relationships through knowledge of the customer’s mission and the AWS partner community.
Interact with strategic, DIB and emerging tech partners and senior levels.
Engage with staff officers, contracting officials, software developers and architects.
Identify growth strategies applicable across the Defense and Intelligence segments.
Travel as necessary.
