Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Principal Sales Executive to lead the Department of War cloud transformation and adoption efforts. You will engage with defense customers, SI partners, and solution providers to drive large, strategic opportunities and revenue growth.

You’ll build relationships, articulate compelling value propositions, and coordinate with senior leadership and partners to modernize mission systems using AWS capabilities, while meeting security and compliance expectations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology sales experience.
• Experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals.
• Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives or communicating results to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree or above, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• 10+ years working with Systems Integrators and/or technology partners supporting the DoW.

Responsibilities

• Develop a growing book of business in the Department of War sales team.
• Drive business and technical relationships and close business at a rapid rate by helping to define, identify, and pursue key opportunities.
• Establish deep business and technical relationships through knowledge of the customer’s mission and the AWS partner community.
• Interact with key strategic and DIB partners and emerging tech partners.
• Engage at senior military and civilian levels with both business and technical stakeholders.
