Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Sales Executive to build the AWS cloud computing business for the US Army and DoD, engaging DoD customers, systems integrators, and providers to drive cloud transformation and adoption.

You will own revenue, develop executive relationships, and lead pursuit teams across complex missions, traveling as needed and ensuring alignment with DoD priorities; US citizenship and TS clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software or cloud markets selling to C-level executives.
• 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience.
• Master's degree in business, finance, economics, CS, data science, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of managing multiple large projects and enterprise scale cloud programs.

Responsibilities

• Own your business and attainment goals; develop and execute an account strategy for the US Army portfolio.
• Build executive relationships with senior military leaders and contracting officers.
• Hunt, qualify and close high-value opportunities with a robust pipeline.
• Lead multi-role pursuit teams and coordinate with SA/ TAM/ PDM/ delivery staff.
