Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced sales professional for an expatriate role located in Japan. The candidate will directly sell communications systems to U.S. Federal DoD accounts, build strategic customer relationships, and lead Motorola teams to meet account opportunities.

The role requires 4+ years in sales or 8+ years in related fields, a technical background, and willingness to relocate for 3+ years. International travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 4+ years in sales, customer success, public safety or military OR 8+ years in those fields.
• Strong communication, writing and presentation skills are required.
• Technical background in RF, CAD/RMS/E911/video is strongly desired.
• Experience selling to DoD or Federal agencies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales of communications systems to U.S. DoD accounts in Eastern US region.
• Understand customer needs and map Motorola portfolio solutions.
• Build relationships and act as trusted adviser to customers/partners.
• Lead cross-functional teams to meet account strategy and opportunities.
• Travel 50–75% within territory and coordinate resources.
