Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced sales professional for an expatriate assignment in Japan, relocating for a minimum of 3 years to lead direct sales to U.S. Federal DoD accounts in the Eastern US region.

The role requires 4+ years in sales or 8+ years combined with public safety or military background, plus a technical edge in RF and public safety software platforms. Strong communication and ownership of strategic account plans are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in sales, public safety and/or military experience or 8+ years in same
• Proven track record of closing major sales and strong communication skills
• Technical background in RF and public safety software platforms (CAD, RMS, E911, Video) preferred
• Experience selling to DoD/Federal agencies and security clearances a plus

Responsibilities

• Direct sales of communications systems to U.S. DoD accounts in Eastern US region
• Identify customer needs and apply Motorola Solutions portfolio to meet them
• Build strong customer relationships and become a trusted adviser
• Coordinate internal resources and partners to meet key accounts' needs
• Travel up to 50-75% within territory
