Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced sales leader for an expatriate role based in Japan, supporting U.S. DoD accounts in the Eastern region. The role requires relocation for at least three years and allows collaboration across global teams to drive critical mission outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in sales or related fields, with a technical background in RF and public safety software, and a proven ability to close major deals while working remotely from a primary site.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of sales, customer success, public safety and/or military experience; or 8+ years in those areas.
• Technical background in RF communications and First Responder software platforms (CAD, RMS, E911, Video) is strongly desired.
• Experience selling into DoD services or Federal Law Enforcement Agencies is preferred.
• Strong communication, sales and writing skills with a track record of closing major sales.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales of communications systems to U.S. DoD accounts in the Eastern US region.
• Identify customer needs and map Motorola Solutions portfolio to address them.
• Develop trusted advisory relationships with customers and partners.
• Coordinate with internal product groups and external partners to meet key account needs.
• Lead and align extended Motorola teams to understand account strategy and opportunities.
