Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced Senior Sales professional for an expatriate role located in Japan. The role focuses on direct sales to U.S. Federal DoD accounts in the Eastern US region, requiring relocation for at least 3 years.

You will build relationships, understand customer needs, and coordinate cross-team efforts to win major contracts. Requirements include a Bachelor's plus 4+ years in sales/public safety/military, or 8+ years of equivalent experience, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of sales, customer success, public safety and/or military experience
• OR 8+ years of sales, customer success, public safety and/or military experience
• Technical background including RF communications and First Responder software (CAD, RMS, E911, Video) preferred
• Experience selling into DoD/Federal agencies and security clearance considerations
• Excellent communication, sales and writing skills; track record of closing major sales
• Knowledge of Salesforce.com and Google productivity tools; ability to collaborate in a remote setup

Responsibilities

• Direct sales of communications systems to U.S. Federal Government DoD accounts in Eastern US region
• Identify diverse customer needs and map them to Motorola Solutions portfolio
• Build strong customer relationships and understand Motorola Solutions’ business model
• Act as trusted adviser to customers and partners
• Develop and articulate account-specific strategies for Motorola solutions
• Foster relationships across multiple levels and functions
• Coordinate internal and external teams to meet key account needs
• Allocate resources and ensure collaboration for key opportunities
