Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Federal Sales professional for an expatriate assignment based in Japan. The role requires relocation for a minimum of 3 years and focuses on direct sales to U.S. DoD accounts in the Eastern US region, though located in Japan.

The incumbent will build relationships and articulate Motorola Solutions' portfolio to meet customer needs. Travel up to 75% is expected; candidates must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years of relevant experience in sales, public safety, or military.
• Experience selling to DoD or federal agencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate for an expatriate assignment in Japan for 3+ years.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales of communications systems to U.S. DoD accounts in the Eastern US region.
• Identify customer needs and map Motorola Solutions portfolio to solve them.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships across departments.
• Coordinate internal resources and partners to deliver solutions.
• Develop account strategies and articulate value with customers.
