Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a seasoned sales professional for an expatriate assignment in Japan, with relocation for a minimum of three years. The role focuses on direct DoD account sales in the Eastern US region, building trusted advisor relationships and coordinating multi-team efforts to fulfill key opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in sales/public safety and demonstrates a proven ability to close major deals, with technical knowledge in RF, IP networking, and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of sales, customer success, public safety and/or military experience.
• Excellent communication, sales and writing skills.
• Demonstrated track record of closing major sales.
• Understanding of IP networking, information assurance or cyber security a plus.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales of communications systems to U.S. Federal Government DoD accounts in Eastern US region.
• Identify diverse customer needs and map solutions to our portfolio.
• Build strong relationships and become trusted adviser to customer and partners.
• Lead cross-functional teams and allocate resources to meet key account needs.
