Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Document Control Lead to join our Project Controls team in Orlando, with a full-time onsite role at a Kissimmee client site. You will manage EDMS, develop the Document Management Plan, and lead the Document Control team through inception to project closeout.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of document control experience on design/construction projects and strong proficiency with SharePoint, Procore, and Bluebeam, plus excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7-10 years of Document Control experience on design, construction or similar projects including startup and closeout.
• Experience implementing document management systems and procedures for large/mega programs in construction.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint, e-Builder, Aconex, Unifier, Procore, Bluebeam or equivalents.
• Advanced computer and MS Office skills including SharePoint.
• Experience supervising and leading Document Control Team Members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple high-priority deadlines simultaneously.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

• Influence the narrative by understanding what needs to be done to support the project vision and initiatives.
• Implement and monitor EDMS for large programs, manage from inception to closeout.
• Develop and administer the project Document Management Plan and Document Control Procedures.
• Train and lead Document Control Team Members; manage access and security.
• Coordinate document reviews, transmittals, and naming conventions; track progress with EDMS.
• Produce progress reports and ensure QA and contractual compliance.
• Optimize document control productivity and service quality across departments.
