Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in electric distribution design.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree; PE eligibility considered.
• Active PE license or ability to obtain in Pennsylvania.
• Experience with NESC.
• Experience with structural analysis, guying/calcs, cable pulling calcs, coordination of protective devices, and fault current calculations.
• Willingness to travel to local/ regional utilities.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications.

Responsibilities

• Perform design engineering for electric utility customers.
• Develop work packages for OH, UG, URD, and Make Ready using GIS/WMS systems such as EFD, AUD, Smallworld, ArcGIS, Infor, EAM, STORMS, and Maximo.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget of assigned work.
• Perform planning and client follow-up.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure high-quality design deliverables.
