Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Distribution Engineer in the Allentown, PA area. You will design electric utility projects, develop work packages, and manage scope, schedule, and budgets while coordinating with clients and field teams.

The role involves travel to customer sites within Pennsylvania, strong knowledge of NESC, GIS tools, and experience with CAD/MicroStation workflows. A PE license is required or obtainable for Pennsylvania licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial) from an ABET-accredited program.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license; Pennsylvania licensure possible.
• 4+ years of relevant electric utility design experience.
• Experience with NESC standards and electric distribution design.

Responsibilities

• Perform design engineering for Leidos electric utility customers.
• Develop work packages for OH, UG, URD, and Make Ready using GIS/WMS systems.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget of assigned work.
• Coordinate field data collection and client design reviews.
• Drive process improvements for quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate with field/office teams for network projects.
