Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Distribution Engineer in the Allentown, PA area to design and deliver high-quality electric utility projects. You will work with clients, coordinate with internal teams, and develop work packages for OH, UG, URD, and Make Ready using GIS and WMS tools.

The role requires 4+ years of relevant experience, a B.S. in engineering from an ABET-accredited program, and an active PE license. Some regional travel and in-person meetings within Pennsylvania are expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of prior relevant experience in electric utility design engineering.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial) from ABET-accredited program.
• Active PE license required; must obtain PA licensure if not held.

Responsibilities

• Perform design engineering for Leidos electric utility customers.
• Develop work packages for OH, UG, URD, and Make Ready using GIS and WMS systems.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget of assigned work.
• Perform planning, functional tasks, and customer follow-up.
• Coordinate with utilities and field requirements to develop large design packages.
