Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Distribution Engineer in the Allentown, PA area. You will perform design engineering for electric utility customers, develop work packages, and manage scope and schedule while coordinating with clients and field staff to ensure high-quality deliverables.

The role offers remote-working capabilities with travel within Pennsylvania; in-person meetings may be required. A PE license and NESC experience are essential, with a path to growth within the Power Delivery Services

Qualifications

• 4+ years of prior experience in design engineering for electric distribution or with an electric utility.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial) from an ABET-accredited program.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license; must be able to obtain licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Experience with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform design engineering for electric utility customers and projects.
• Develop work packages for OH, UG, URD, and Make Ready using GIS and utility software.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget of assigned work.
• Coordinate with clients and field teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
