Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced leader to direct Alternative Delivery projects within the Transportation Business Group. You will drive approvals, negotiate terms, and coordinate with HDR leadership on policy and resources while fostering industry relationships.

The role requires a 10+ year track record in major transportation projects, a PE license, and a Bachelor’s in Engineering. Travel up to 50% is expected in this senior leadership position.

Qualifications

• PE license required and professional engineering registration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with large civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience with alternative delivery projects and contract terms.
• Proven ability to manage diverse teams and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive project approvals per HDR policy and risk framework.
• Collaborate with HDR leadership on policy, resources and terms.
• Negotiate teaming and subcontracts with engineering/construction entities.
• Engage with industry organizations to raise HDR visibility.
• Report on Transportation Business Group AD status and progress.
