Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Director of the Salesforce Platform to own the enterprise Salesforce ecosystem. You will set vision, governance, and investment priorities, chair the CoE, and partner with cross‑functional leaders to deliver value across sales, service, and data domains.

This role requires a collaborative, enterprise‑level leader who can balance business priorities with technical excellence, ensuring trusted platform health and scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of technology leadership experience with enterprise platforms.
• 10+ years leading Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS/CRM platforms.
• 5+ years in leading Salesforce org/instance rationalization or consolidation.
• Executive stakeholder management, financial planning, and business-case realization.
• Experience establishing a Salesforce CoE and platform operating model.

Responsibilities

• Set enterprise Salesforce strategy, governance, and multi-year roadmap.
• Chair the Salesforce Center of Excellence and oversee cross-functional CoE.
• Lead platform health, security, risk, and lifecycle management.
• Define standards, architecture oversight, and solution quality.
• Partner with enterprise architects on reference architectures and data models.
• Manage vendor relationships, licensing, renewals, and cost optimization.
