Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Director of the Salesforce Platform to own and evolve Ryder's Salesforce ecosystem. The role defines vision, governance, and the investment roadmap for FMS, SCS, and RLM, and chairs the Salesforce CoE to align business segments and deliver value.

The leader must earn trust across organizations, balance competing priorities, and drive enterprise-wide standards for security, data, and architecture while guiding distributed teams and Salesforce partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years in progressive technology leadership with enterprise platform responsibility.
• 10+ years leading Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS/CRM platforms.
• 5+ years leading managers and establishing a Salesforce CoE, governance, and portfolio management.
• 5+ years in leading Salesforce org rationalization or consolidation.
• 5+ years in executive stakeholder management, financial planning, and business case realization.
• Salesforce multi-org strategy, environment strategy, and lifecycle management.
• Identity/access, data governance, and security controls expertise.
• DevSecOps, IT service management, and release governance familiarity (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Define Salesforce vision, governance, and multi-year investment plan aligned to business strategy.
• Lead the Salesforce Center of Excellence and cross-functional operating model.
• Own platform health, security, reliability, risk, and regulatory controls.
• Establish standards for configuration, integration, data, and security across orgs.
• Provide technical guidance while ensuring adherence to enterprise standards.
• Partner with architects and data leaders on reference architectures and APIs.
• Oversee platform rationalization, consolidation, and transition roadmaps.
• Manage vendor relationships, licensing, and financial planning with business impact.
