Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Director of the Salesforce Platform to own the enterprise Salesforce program. This leader will define the vision, operating model, investment priorities, and guardrails across the Salesforce ecosystem serving multiple business segments.

The role chairs the Salesforce Center of Excellence, mentors teams, and acts as Ryder’s relationship owner with Salesforce. The ideal candidate drives platform health, security, and data integrity while delivering measurable business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years in progressive technology leadership with responsibility for enterprise platforms, products, or customer-facing business applications.
• 10+ years in leadership of Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS/CRM platforms in a large, complex environment.
• 5+ years in leading Salesforce org/instance rationalization or consolidation, including data, integration and security impacts.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Define Salesforce strategy, governance, and multi-year roadmap; chair Salesforce CoE.
• Ensure platform health, security, reliability, and risk management across instances.
• Lead cross-functional stakeholder collaboration and enterprise decision-making.
• Set pragmatic guardrails for configuration, development, data, identity, and DevSecOps.
• Oversee vendor relationships with Salesforce and manage budgeting and roadmaps.
