Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Senior Director of Operations to lead the company’s operations across multiple service locations. You will oversee Medical Equipment Technicians, Dispatch, Respiratory, Warehouse, Inventory, Compliance and Facility operations, driving efficiency and budget control.

The role requires strategic planning, staff development, and ensuring ACHC/HIPAA compliance and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, accounting, business, finance, or related field is required; Master’s preferred.
• 7 years Director-level experience in a related position (DME industry preferred).
• 5 years healthcare experience, preferably in a HME or sales environment.
• 3 years of customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall operations across departments to meet organizational goals.
• Implement processes to ensure activity is entered in Brightree and orders are ready for confirmation.
• Monitor daily routing and optimize location-specific stock levels to minimize inventory.
• Ensure monthly inventories, purchase orders, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Train, mentor, and coach staff; communicate process changes and improve performance.
• Lead branch audits and cross-branch transfers to support efficiency and compliance.
