Job summary

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a Lead Operations Specialist to support the Operations Team across regions, acting as SME, providing new hire training, and mentoring staff. May deliver and set up medical equipment as needed.

You will supervise teams, drive onboarding, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines and HIPAA obligations while maintaining a focus on quality and customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to train and mentor teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data interpretation.
• Comfort learning new technologies and understanding data flows across systems.
• General knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and payer policies preferred.
• Works well independently and in a team.
• Demonstrates adaptability in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members and act as escalation point for complex issues and regulatory questions.
• Lead onboarding, training, and staff development for operations and client engagement teams.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide coaching to improve productivity.
• Develop and implement process improvements and workflow optimization strategies.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation with management.
• Maintain expertise in Medicare guidelines and compliance for equipment/services.
