Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a VP of Business Development for Multifamily to own our largest multi-location deals from first meeting to signed contract.

As an individual contributor, you will close strategic accounts across many locations, with a $2M annual quota and deals booked via inbound or our sales development team. You will not manage a team, but you will lead complex negotiations.

Qualifications

• Proven track record closing $1M+ annually on large multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling to multifamily groups or similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision makers.
• Prefers closing business over people management.

Responsibilities

• Own full cycle from discovery to close on deals 3–12 months.
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Expand: add locations and services after signing.
• Collaborate with strategists on proposals for key deals.
