Job summary

Encore is seeking a Director, Event Technology II to drive revenue and profitability for a Dallas-area venue portfolio. You will lead a high-performance team, manage P&L, and cultivate strong relationships with venue personnel to deliver world-class service.

You will oversee event tech operations, sales support, and client communications, while ensuring adherence to Encore standards and continuous improvement across the business. A leadership mindset and AV expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of audio-visual experience.
• 2+ years of operations/supervisory experience.
• 3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and profitability at assigned location(s).
• Manage labor, equipment sub-rentals and other costs to meet financial goals.
• Prepare and review reports and forecasts for location performance.
• Manage invoicing coordination and ensure timely client approvals.
• Lead daily floor operations, scheduling, setup and strikes.
• Ensure on-time delivery and proper functioning of equipment and services.
• Develop and present proposals, quotes, and event cost structures.
• Maintain CRM data accuracy and client communications.
• Coach and develop team members and ensure Encore standards.
