Job summary

Encore Global in Dallas is seeking a Director, Event Technology II to drive revenue and profitability for the location. You will lead a high-performance team, manage venue relationships, ensure world-class service and maintain an emphasis on continuous improvement and quality.

Responsibilities include P&L management, labor and equipment control, sales collaboration, client billing accuracy, and on-site technical leadership for events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of audio-visual experience.
• 2+ years of operations/supervisory experience.
• 3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with computer hardware.
• Proficiency with computer software and programs, including the Internet and Microsoft Office.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members who may operate Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage profitable operation with focus on revenue and cost control.
• Manage location P&L and develop action plans to grow business.
• Prepare and review standard and ad hoc financial reports and forecasts.
• Coordinate invoicing activities and ensure client billing approval.
• Attend venue meetings and participate in business reviews as needed.
• Schedule and supervise daily floor operations, equipment setups, and strikes.
• Ensure on-time delivery of equipment and services per client and brand standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and other departments to service events.
• Understand event cost structure and profitability guidelines.
• Maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel to deliver World-Class service.
• Lead and develop the team, coaching on Encore standards and training on systems.
